I, JIM O’CALLAGHAN, Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 6A
(4)of the Enforcement of Court Orders Act 1940 (No. 23 of 1940) (as adapted by the Justice (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 242 of 2025 )), hereby make the following regulations: 1.
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Enforcement of Court Orders (Legal Aid) (Amendment) Regulations 2026.
(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 July
- The Enforcement of Court Orders (Legal Aid) Regulations 2009 ( S.I. No. 301 of 2009 ) are amended by the substitution of the Schedule set out in the Schedule to these Regulations for Schedule
- SCHEDULE “SCHEDULE 2 Part 1 SOLICITOR’S FEE Proceedings in District Court Fee in respect of proceedings: €258.53 per case Part 2 SOLICITOR’S FEE Appeal against order for imprisonment of debtor Fee in respect of an appeal against an order for imprisonment of a debtor made under paragraph (c) or (d) of subsection
(7)of section 6 of the Act of 1940: €258.53 per case Part 3 SOLICITOR’S FEE Hearing by High Court of case stated Fee in respect of the hearing by the High Court of a case stated: €1,710.16 per case Part 4 COUNSEL’S FEE Hearing by High Court of case stated Fee in respect of the hearing by the High Court of a case stated: €1,710.16 per case”.
