I, DARRAGH O’BRIEN, Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 10 (as adapted by the Environment, Climate and Communications (Alteration of Name of Department and Title of Minister) Order 2025 ( S.I. No. 235 of 2025 )) of the EirGrid, Electricity and Turf (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 17 of 2022) and on being satisfied in accordance with section 10
(2)of that Act that it is required, hereby make the following order with respect to which, pursuant to section 10
(4)of that Act, a draft has been laid before each House of the Oireachtas and a resolution approving the draft has been passed by each such House:
- This Order may be cited as the EirGrid, Electricity and Turf (Amendment) Act 2022 (Section 10) Order
- This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of July
- The date referred to in section 3
(2)of the EirGrid, Electricity and Turf (Amendment) Act 2022 (No. 17 of 2022) is extended to 31 March
