Act Referred to Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 No. 36 of 1953 Number 18 of 1956. RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (RELIEF) ACT, 1956. AN ACT TO AMEND THE RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (RELIEF) ACT, 1953 , SO THAT THAT ACT SHALL HAVE EFFECT IN RELATION TO THE LOCAL FINANCIAL YEARS ENDING ON THE 31st DAY OF MARCH, 1957, THE 31st DAY OF MARCH, 1958 AND THE 31st DAY OF MARCH, 1959. [22nd May, 1956.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— Amendment of Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953. 1.—(1) The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 (No. 36 of 1953), shall have effect in relation to the local financial years ending on the 31st day of March, 1957, the 31st day of March, 1958, and the 31st day of March, 1959. (2) Accordingly, the word “five” is hereby substituted for the word “two” where the latter word occurs in section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , in the reference to the local financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1954, and the two following local financial years. Short title and collective citation. 2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1956. (2) The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 to 1953, and this Act may be cited together as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 to 1956.
