EXPIRING LAWS ACT, 1927. ARRANGEMENT OF SECTIONS Section 1. Acts in Schedule to be continued. 2. Short title. SCHEDULE. Acts Referred to District Justices (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 No. 6 of 1923 Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 No. 9 of 1923 Statutory Undertakings (Continuance of Charges) (No.2) Act, 1923 No. 16 of 1923 Local Authorities (Combined Purchasing) Act, 1925 No. 20 of 1925 Number 36 of 1927. EXPIRING LAWS ACT, 1927. AN ACT TO CONTINUE FOR A LIMITED PERIOD CERTAIN EXPIRING ENACTMENTS. [2nd December, 1927.] WHEREAS the Acts mentioned in Parts I. and II. of the Schedule to this Act, in so far as they are temporary in their duration, are limited to expire on the 31st day of December, 1927, and the Act mentioned in Part III. of the said Schedule is limited to expire on the 26th day of June, 1928: AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the Acts mentioned in the Schedule to this Act, and the enactments amending or affecting the same should be continued as in this Act is mentioned: BE IT THEREFORE ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— Acts in Schedule to be continued. 1.—

(1)The Acts mentioned in the Schedule to this Act shall, to the extent specified in the third column of the said Schedule, be continued until the 31st day of December, 1928, and shall then expire unless further continued.
(2)Any unrepealed enactments amending or affecting the enactments continued by this section shall, in so far as they are temporary in their duration, be continued in like manner, whether they are mentioned in the Schedule to this Act or not. Short title. 2.—This Act may be cited as the Expiring Laws Act,
