Amendment of section 1 of Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1962. 2. Short title. Acts Referred to Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1962 1962, No. 23 Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1964 1964, No. 35 Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1967 1967, No. 13 Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1972 1972, No. 13 Exchequer and Local Financial Years Act, 1974 1974, No. 3 Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1946 1946, No. 36 Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 1953, No. 36 Number 29 of 1974 RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (RELIEF) ACT, 1974 AN ACT TO AMEND AND EXTEND THE RATES ON AGRICULTURAL LAND (RELIEF) ACTS, 1939 TO 1972. [23rd December, 1974] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: Amendment of section 1 of Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1962. 1.—(1) Subsection (1) of section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1962 , as amended by section 2 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1964 , section 2 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1967 , section 2 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1972 , and section 4 of the Exchequer and Local Financial Years Act, 1974 , is hereby amended by the substitution of the “31st day of December, 1974, and the 31st day of December, 1975, and shall so have effect as if the making of supplementary allowances under section 6 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1946 , were not prohibited.” for all the words after “the 31st day of March, 1974,” and accordingly, the said subsection (1) shall have effect as set out in the Table to this section. (2) Accordingly “twenty-two” is hereby substituted for “twenty-one” where the latter word occurs in section 1 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , in the reference to the local financial year ending on the 31st day of March, 1954, and the twenty-one following local financial years. TABLE The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1953 , shall have effect in relation to the local financial years ending on the 31st day of March, 1963, the 31st day of March, 1964, the 31st day of March, 1965, the 31st day of March, 1966, the 31st day of March, 1967, the 31st day of March, 1968, the 31st day of March, 1969, the 31st day of March, 1970, the 31st day of March, 1971, the 31st day of March, 1972, the 31st day of March, 1973, the 31st day of March, 1974, the 31st day of December, 1974, and the 31st day of December, 1975, and shall so have effect as if the making of supplementary allowances under section 6 of the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1946 , were not prohibited. Short title. 2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Act, 1974. (2) The Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 to 1972, and this Act may be cited together as the Rates on Agricultural Land (Relief) Acts, 1939 to 1974.
