1. 3. Declaration of the Republic of Lithuania The Republic of Lithuania declares that, according to Article 16 of the Convention, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania is an authority which shall receive claims for the restitution, or requests for the return, of cultural objects, and shall forward them to the courts of the Republic of Lithuania. 4. Implementation of Article 17 of the Convention The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania shall, no later than six months following the ratification of the Convention, present to the Government of the Republic of Italy, in one of the official languages of the Convention, the laws and other statutory acts of the Republic of Lithuania, regulating the export of cultural objects.
