SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA SUPREME COUNCIL OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA DECREE ON THE PROCEDURE FOR THE ENTRY INTO FORCE OF THE ENTERPRISE LAW OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA The Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania decrees:
- To establish that Enterprise Law of the Republic of Lithuania comes into effect from 1 July 1990, except for the articles which regulate the establishment and activities of individual (personal) enterprises.
- To commission the Government of the Republic of Lithuania: prepare and present by 20 June 1990 to the Supreme Council of the Republic of Lithuania the bills which must be adopted in order to carry out the Enterprise Law of the Republic of Lithuania; to re-register by 1 October 1990 all enterprises which started functioning prior to the date of the Law coming into force. Individual (personal) enterprises are to be re- registered by 1 July
- To establish that on re-registering the cooperatives, established prior to the Law coming into force, they are granted the status of a real economic company, and persons who are engaged in individual work according to the regulations established by law are granted the status of individual (personal) enterprise.
