Official translation GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA R E S O L U T I O N No. 454 ON GRANTING AUTHORISATION TO CONCLUDE, ON BEHALF OF THE STATE, AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SPECIAL-PURPOSE STOCK COMPANY “LIETUVOS GELEŽINKELIAI” ON DISCHARGING OBLIGATIONS TO SERVICE THE PUBLIC 9 May 1997 Vilnius Following Article 7 of the Code of Railway Transport of the Republic of Lithuania (Official Gazette No. 59-1402, 1996), the Government of the Republic of Lithuania r e s o l v e s: To grant authorisation to the Minister of Transport to conclude, on behalf of the State, an agreement with the special-purpose Stock Company "Lietuvos geležinkeliai" on discharging obligations in carrying travellers by railway transport and on compensating for losses incurred in fulfilling these obligations from the funds allocated to the Ministry of Transport from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for that purpose. The Agreement shall be signed annually, having planned the funds in the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for this purpose in the established procedure.
