Translation from Lithuanian Translation from Lithuanian GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA R E S O L U T I O N No.726 On the partial amendment to the Resolution No.443, dated 16 June 1993 adopted by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania Vilnius, September 1993 The Government of the Republic of Lithuania r e s o l v e s:

1. To introduce the following amendments to the Resolution No.443 "On the Procedure of Export and Import Regulation in the Republic of Lithuania", dated 16 July 1993 adopted by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania (News, 1993, No. 24-573, No. 34-789, No.36-812, No. 41-859, No. 42-874): 1.
2. to formulate the subparagraph 2.10.
3. as follows: "2.10.
4. technical alcohol is imported under the quota issued by the Ministry of Industry and Trade; unbottled alcoholic drinks, their raw materials for industrial processing, eggs for hatching, cereals and forage products (corresponding codes according to the nomenclature of the EEC Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System - 04070011, 04070019, 10, 12149090) are imported and molasses (corresponding code according to the nomenclature of the EEC Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System - 1703) to be exchanged for sugar beet seeds and sugar industry equipment is exported under the quota issued by the Ministry of Agriculture"; 1.
5. to supplement the aforementioned Resolution with paragraphs 2.17 and 2.18: "2.
6. quotas for the import of cereals and forage products are approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on recommendation of the Ministry of Agriculture. These quotas are assigned by way of competition. The Ministry of Agriculture must within the weeks time prepare and, having coordinated it with the Ministry of Economy, approve the regulations of the announcement and procedure of competition; 2.
7. temporarily (till 1 May 1994) seeds of red clover (code according to the nomenclature of the EEC Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System -12092210)" are prohibited for export; 1.
8. within the limits of the norms of customs tariff for commodity import approved herein: 1.3.
9. to formulate Article 9 of Section I "Live Animals and Animal Products" as follows: "0501-0504, products of animal origin, not 5" 05051090-0509, elsewhere specified in this list 0511 1.3.
10. to formulate Chapter II "Vegetable Products" as follows: "Section II. Vegetable Products 06, 0702-09, vegetable products 5 13, 14 0701 potatoes 15 100190-1008 cereals 15"; 1.3.
11. to formulate Section III "Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils or their Cleavage Products; Prepared Edible Fats; Animal or Vegetable Waxes" as follows: "1501-1510, animal or vegetable fats, oils 5 151190-1512, and Waxes 15131191-15162091, 151790-1521 151710 margarine 20"; 1.3.
12. to formulate the following paragraphs of Section IV "Prepared Foodstuffs; Beverages, Spirits and Vinegar; Tobacco and Manufactured Tobacco Substitutes" as follows: 1.3.4.
13. namely the third, forth and fifth paragraphs: "1703, 18, molasses, cocoa and cocoa 5 190120-1904, preparations, products of 19059030 cereals, flour, starch and milk 1704, sugar confectionery, flour 15 190510-19059020, confectionery 19059040-19059090 20-2202 preparations of vegetables, 5 fruit, nuts or other parts of plants, miscellaneous edible preparations, beverages 2203 beer made from malt 20, but not less than 0,1 USD per liter"; 1.3.4.
14. namely the ninth paragraph: "2208 undenatured ethyl alcohol 100, but not of an alcoholic strength less than 4 by volume of less than 80% USD per vol, spirits, liqueurs and liter"; other spirituous beverages, compound alcoholic preparations of a kind used for the manufacture of beverages 1.3.
15. to formulate the second paragraph of Section VI "Products of the Chemical or Allied Industries" as follows: "3401, 3402 soap, organic surface-active 10" 3404-3406 products, washing preparations, artificial and prepared waxes, cleaning and polishing preparations, candles and the like 1.3.
16. to formulate Section VII "Plastics and Articles Thereof; Rubber and Articles Thereof" as follows: "391721-3918 articles of plastics 15"; 39201019-3926 1.3.
17. to formulate Section XII "Footwear, Headgear, Umbrellas, Walking-sticks, Seat-sticks, Whips, Riding-crops and Parts Thereof; Prepared Feathers and Articles Made Therewith; Artificial Flowers; Articles of Human Hair" as follows: "6401-6405, footwear, headgear, umbrellas, 10"; 65-67 sticks, whips, riding-crops and parts thereof; prepared feathers and articles made therewith; artificial flowers; articles of human hair 1.3.
18. to formulate the third paragraph of Section XIII "Articles of Stone, Plaster, Cement, Asbestos, Mica and Similar Materials; Ceramic Products; Glass and Glassware" as follows: "7001-7002, glass and glassware 10"; 70041010, 7006-7009, 70109021-70109041, 70109047-70109067, 70109081-7014, 701590-701690, 7018-701910, 701990-7020 1.3.
19. to formulate the second paragraph of Section XVI "Machinery and Mechanical Appliances; Electrical Equipment; Parts Thereof; Sound Recorders and Reproducers, Television Image and Sound Recorders and Reproducers and Parts and Accessories of Such Articles" as follows: "84143030 compressors of a kind used in 10"; refrigerating equipment 1.
20. within the limits of the norms of customs tariff for commodity export approved herein: 1.4.
21. to eliminate Section II "Vegetable Products"; 1.4.
22. to delete the second paragraph of Section VIII "Raw Hides and Skins, Leather, Furskins and Articles Thereof; Saddlery and Harness; Travel Goods, Handbags and Similar Containers; Articles of Animal Gut" as follows: "410410-41041091, semimanufactures of leather 25"; 410421-410429, 410511-4105199, 410611-410619, 41071010, 410721, 41072910, 41079010 1.
23. to substitute the words "1 October 1993" in the fourth and fifth paragraphs of the import procedure of tobacco products and alcoholic drinks, adopted by the specified resolution, for the words "15 November 1993".
24. To recognize as invalid the second passage of subparagraph 1.2.
25. of Resolution No.656 "On the Partial Amendment to the Resolution No. 443, dated 16 June 1993",(News, 1993, No. 42-874), dated 27 August 1993 adopted by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania: "20-2202 preparations of vegetables, fruit, 5", nuts or other parts of plants, miscellaneous edible preparations, beverages as well as subparagraphs 1.2.
