Translation from Lithuanian Translation from Lithuanian GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF LITHUANIA R E S O L U T I O N No. 592 On the Order of Issuing Patents to Foreign States Residents Vilnius, 27 April 1995 Enacting Article No. 8 of the Law on Trade of the Republic of Lithuania and Paragraph 8 of Article No. 21 of the Law on Enterprises of the Republic of Lithuania (amended Law No. I-749 of January 12,1995) the Government of the Republic of Lithuania r e s o l v e s:

  1. To establish that: 1.
  2. residents of foreign states trading in market-places in the Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as residents of foreign states) shall acquire patents; 1.
  3. the Patents to the residents of foreign states are issued by the administration of the market-places.
  4. To approve the order of issuing Patents to residents of foreign states (attached).
  5. To establish the Patent Fee for residents of foreign states according to the attachment.
  6. To oblige the Ministry of Finance to review the Patent Fee every quarter of a year according to the price index announced by the Department of Statistics of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania, if it is not lower than 1.
  7. The indexed tariffs shall be applied from the first day of the second month of the next quarter.
  8. To establish that this resolution shall come into force from May 15,

  10. Patents shall be issued for a day, a week or a month.
  11. The Patent obtained does not exempt its holder, a resident of a foreign state, from a market-place fee or other charges that give the right to trade in the particular market-place.
  12. The Patent is valid only for the market-place for which it has been issued.
  13. The Patent is signed by the Manager (Deputy) of the market-place and is confirmed by the stamp of the market-place.
  14. The Patent consists of two parts: the main part, which is issued to a resident of a foreign state, and the receipt, which stays with the administration of the market-place (appendix: Form No. 1 and No. 2).
  15. The Patent gives the right of trading to the person specified in the Patent only. The Patent is valid only when submitted with the passport.
  16. The administration of the market-place acquaints the residents of foreign states with the Order and requests their signature, upon the Patent issuance.
  17. The Patent Fee is calculated by the administration of the market-place in proportion to the time period stated in the Patent Application.
  18. The administration of the market-place shall transfer the funds collected to the State Tax Inspectorates' Collection Accounts by 15th day of the current month and, after the month ends, by 5th day of the next month. The amounts received by the State Inspectorates shall be transferred to the State Budget.
  19. Patent Forms are strictly accounted documents.
  20.
