1. Application of the Requirements of the Law on Pre-Trial Detention
2. To establish that the requirements of the Law on Pre-Trial Detention, with the exception of Article 14, shall be applied also with respect to persons who are detained in accordance with the procedure of preventive detention under Article 501 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Lithuania.
3. To establish that the requirements of the Law on Pre-Trial Detention, with the exception of Article 17, shall be applied also with respect to persons who are given capital punishment from the moment the sentence becomes effective until the moment of the execution of punishment. Article
4. Proposals to the Government of the Republic of Lithuania
5. The Government shall prepare and approve, by 1 August 1996, Internal Regulations of the Places of Pre-Trial Detention.
6. The Government shall harmonise, by 1 August 1996, the effective standard acts with the requirements laid down in the Law on Pre-Trial Detention.
7. The Ministry of Internal Affairs shall harmonise, by 1 August 1996, the Ministry's standard acts regulating the activities of places of police custody with the requirements laid down in the Law on Pre-Trial Detention.
