1. To outline paragraph 2 as follows: “
2. To provide allocations to ministries and government institutions from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for 1998 in order to cover the administrative expenses of 1998 of the European Union programmes (further referred to as the EU) and 10% of these programme participation fee for 1998 (administrative expenses not included) according to the appendix attached”.
3. To supplement this Resolution with paragraphs 3 - 6: “
4. To provide allocations from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for 1999 in order to cover 30% of the participation fee of the EU programmes indicated in the appendix of this Resolution (administrative expenses not included).
5. To provide allocations from the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania of 2000 in order to cover 50% of the participation fee of the following EU programmes (administrative expenses not included): Media, Kaleidoscope, Raphael, Save, Actions within the Field of Crafts and Small Enterprises, Drug Addiction Prevention, AIDS, Equal Opportunities for Women and Men.
6. To authorize the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the national aid coordinator to prepare the procedure according to which the remaining share of the participation fee of EU programmes shall be covered from the resources of the National PHARE Programme for 1998, 1999,
8. To authorize ministries and government institutions in charge of participation in the EU programmes: 6.
9. when planning the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for 1998 to provide other resources necessary to participate in concrete projects of EU programmes; 6.
10. when planning the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania for 1999 and 2000 to provide allocations for administrative expenses and other resources necessary to participate in concrete projects of EU programmes; 6.
11. transfer taxes, related to Lithuania’s participation in EU programmes, to the European Commission from the national budget and PHARE resources subject to the established procedure and dates”.
