RESOLUTION

RESOLUTION RESOLUTION ON THE BUDGETS OF THE BALTIC ASSEMBLY SECRETARIAT FOR THE YEARS 1999 AND 2000 The approved budget of the Baltic Assembly Secretariat for the year 1999 amounts to 33,000 USD. The 14th Session of the Baltic Assembly, having listened to the information of the Budget and Audit Committee of the Baltic Assembly on the use of the Baltic Assembly Secretariat budget for the year 1999 because of the increased needs due to the movement of the Secretariat into a new office, recommends:

1. To consider the Baltic Assembly Secretariat’s additional expenses for the year 1999 to be 21,000 USD, out of which: furnishing of the office 15,500 USD telephone and fax 1,000 USD stationery 500 USD business trip expenses 2,000 USD
2. In view of this, to appeal to the Governments of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania to make a singular allocation to the Baltic Assembly Secretariat in the year 1999 in the total amount of 21,000 USD.
3. To make a preliminary estimate of the expenditure of the Baltic Assembly Secretariat for the year 2000 in the amount of up to 60,000 USD. Vilnius, 29 May 1999
