BALTIC ASSEMBLY BALTIC ASSEMBLY RESOLUTION On Energy The Baltic Assembly, meeting in Jurmala (Kemeri) from 13th to 15th May, 1994, proposes that the Governments of the Baltic States, together with experts of the Nordic Council, organize a seminar on Baltic energy issues which could be held in conjunction with a regular meeting of the Energy Ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Possible topics for discussion to include: electric energy tariff coordination which takes into account the ecological characteristics of the region, coordination of laws on regulating energy production and consumption, alternative energy resources, shelf resource utilization, energy safety and the protection of the environment of the Baltic Sea, and other issues.
