BALTIC ASSEMBLY BALTIC ASSEMBLY APPEAL to the Nordic Council The Baltic Assembly, meeting in Jurmala (Kemeri) from May 13-15, 1994, whilst welcoming the agreement on the rendering of consular assistance to the citizens of the Baltic States in the third countries, signed by the Baltic Ministers of Foreign Affairs on March 23, 1994 in Riga, believes that cooperation in the field of consular representation should be expanded between the Baltic and Nordic countries. The Baltic Assembly appeals to the Nordic Council to discuss the possibility of rendering consular assistance to Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian citizens in those countries where the Baltic States have no consular representation.
