Article 12
) Exchange of Agricultural Concessions between the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic on the one side and the Republic of Slovenia on the other side
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic listed in Annex A to this Protocol shall be abolished on April 1,
- In the case of the items marked by asterisk zero customs duty shall be applied within the limits of quotas specified in Annex A
- The quotas in Annex A1 shall be abolished on January 1,
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in te Republic of Slovenia to products originating in the Czech Republic or the Slovak Republic listed in Annex B to this Protocol shall be reduced to the level set out in this Annex as from April 1, 1998, with the exception of the items marked by asterisk. In those cases customs duties shall be progressively reduced by both Parties within the limits of quotas specified in Annex B1 in accordance with the following timetable: — on April 1, 1998 — to 40% of the basic duty but maximum to the level set out in Annex B; — on January 1, 1999 — to the level set out in Annex B. - Basic duties agreed under this Protocol are the Most Favoured Nation duty rates applied at the time of actual importation. Customs duties include ad valorem and specific customs duties and product specific levies. Article 12
) Exchange of Agricultural Concessions between the Republic of Hungary on the one side and the Republic of Slovenia on the other side
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Hungary to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in the Republic of Hungary listed in Annex A to this Protocol shall be abolished on April 1,
- In the case of the items marked by asterisk zero customs duty shall be applied within the limits of quotas specified in Annex A
- The quotas in Annex A1 shall be abolished on January 1,

Article 12

- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Poland to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in the Republic of Poland listed in Annex A to this Protocol shall be abolished on April 1,

- In the case of the items marked by double asterisk the Republic of Poland shall not apply preferential duties as set out in this Annex as long as it applies exceptional measures based on Article 14 of the Central European Free Trade Agreement to the imports of these products form the Czech Republic, The Republic of Hungary, Romania and the Slovak Republic.
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Poland to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia listed in Annex C to this Protocol shall be reduced by 50% without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in this Annex as from April 1,
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in the Republic of Poland listed in Annex D to this Protocol shall be reduced by 50% without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in this Annex as from April 1,
- Basic duties agreed under this Protocol are the Most Favoured Nation duty rates applied at the time of actual importation. Customs duties include ad valorem and specific customs duties and product specific levies.
- The Republic of Poland and the Republic of Slovenia shall review in the second half of 1998 the development of their trade in products covered by this Protocol. In the light of this review the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Slovenia shall consider improvement of the provisions of this Protocol. Article 12
) Exchange of Agricultural Concessions between Romania on the one side and the Republic of Slovenia on the other side
- Customs duties on imports applicable in Romania to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in Romania listed in Annex A to this Protocol shall be abolished on April 1, 1998, with the exception of the items marked by asterisk. In the case of the items marked by single asterisk zero customs duty shall be applied within the limits of quotas specified in Annex A
- The quotas in Annex A1 shall be abolished on January 1,
- In the case of the items marked by double asterisk customs duties shall be progressively reduced by both Parties in accordance with the following timetable: — on April 1, 1998 — to 30% of the basic duty, — on January 1, 1999 — the remaining duties shall be eliminated.
- Customs duties on imports applicable in Romania to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia and customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in Romania listed in Annex B to this Protocol shall be reduced to the level set out in this Annex as from April 1, 1998, with the exception of the items marked by asterisk. In the case of the items marked by single asterisk customs duties shall be progressively reduced by both Parties within the limits of quotas specified in Annex B1 in accordance with the following timetable: — on April 1, 1998 — to 40% of the basic duty but maximum to the level set out in Annex B; — on January 1, 1999 — to the level set out in Annex B. The quotas in Annex B1 shall be abolished on January 1,
- In the case of the items marked by double asterisk the customs duties shall be progressively reduced by both Parties to the level set out in this Annex in accordance with the following timetable: — on April 1, 1998 — to 30% of the basic duty but maximum to the level set out in Annex B; — on January 1, 1999 — to the level set out in Annex B.
- Customs duties on imports applicable in Romania to products originating in the Republic of Slovenia listed in Annex C to this Protocol shall be reduced without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in this Annex to the level set out in this Annex as from April 1,
- Customs duties on imports applicable in the Republic of Slovenia to products originating in Romania listed in Annex D to this Protocol shall be reduced without quantitative limits or within the limits of quotas specified in this Annex to the level set out in this Annex as from April 1,
