Published on 17 March 2025   FIFTH SECTION Application no. 42416/23 M.K. and Others against Greece lodged on 11 December 2023 communicated on 25 February 2025 SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CASE The application concerns the living conditions of the applicants, two single mothers and their minor children, in the Closed Controlled Access Center (CCAC) of Kos. The applicants rely on Articles 3 and 13 of the Convention. QUESTIONS TO THE PARTIES 1.  Having regard to the fact that the applicants were single mothers and their minor children, and with further regard to the allegations of two of the applicants about the lack of access to appropriate medical care, were their living conditions inside the Closed Controlled Access Center (CCAC) of Kos compatible with Article 3 of the Convention? 2.  Did the applicants have at their disposal an effective remedy to complain about their living conditions, as required under Article 13 of the Convention?
