(1)The title of these bye-laws is the Bye-Laws for the Degree of Bachelor of Arts - B.A. - in Theology and Human Studies under the auspices of the Faculty of Theology.
(2)Citation and interpretation. In these bye-laws, unless the context otherwise requires - "the Board" means the Board of the Faculty of Theology; "the course" means the programme of studies leading to the degree of Bachelor Arts - B.A. - in Theology and Human Studies; "the Degree” means the degree of Bachelor Arts - B.A. - in Theology and Human Studies; and "the principal regulations" means the General Regulations for University Undergraduate Awards. (1)The Degree may be awarded in Theology as the Main area of study together with a second Main area of study. Areas of study.

The programme of study shall comprise study-units to which 180 ECTS credits shall be assigned, of which not less than 94 ECTS credits shall be assigned to study-units in Theology, Philosophy, and related areas, and not less than 80 ECTS credits shall be assigned to study-units in a second Main area of study. (1)The Board shall publish the programme of study for Theology drawn up in accordance with the relevant provisions of the principal regulations, and approved by Senate. Subject to changes that the Board may, with the approval of Senate, be constrained to make, students are bound to follow the study-units and obtain the credits as indicated in the programme of studies they are following for the Degree.
(2)The programmes of study for the Main areas of study that may be taken together with Theology in the course shall similarly be published by the Boards of the academic entities responsible for each area of study. Classification of the award. Substituted by: L.N. 353 of
