The title of these regulations is the Promotion of Local Manufactures (Applications for Exemptions) Regulations. 2. In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires - "Act" means the Local Manufactures (Promotion) Act; Citation. Interpretation. Cap. 336. "exemption" means an exemption granted by the Minister to any person in terms of section 9 of the Act, from the payment in whole or in part, of the levy due on any goods imported by him; "Minister" means the Minister responsible for industry. 3. The prescribed form for an application for an exemption shall be in accordance with the form shown in the Schedule. Prescribed form. 4. A processing fee of eleven euros and sixty-five cents (11.65) shall be paid by an applicant to the Department of Industry in respect of each application on the prescribed form filed with the same Department. Fees paid shall under no circumstances be refunded. Fee due. Amended by: L.N. 424 of 2007.
