[ S.L.35.09 FEES DUE TO CUSTOMS WEIGHERS 1 SUBSIDIARY LEGISLATION 35.09 FEES DUE TO CUSTOMS WEIGHERS REGULATIONS 27th March, 1981 LEGAL NOTICE 35 of 1981, as amended by Legal Notices 39 of 1995, 217 of 1997 and 407 of 2007. 1. The title of these regulations is the Fees due to Customs Weighers Regulations. Title. 2. Subject to the other provisions of these regulations, the fees specified in the First Schedule hereto shall be payable to the Comptroller of Customs in respect of weighing services performed by weighers in the Customs Department: Fees for weighing services. Amended by: L.N. 217 of 1997; L.N. 407 of 2007. Provided that the fee payable in respect of any one parcel of goods weighed shall in no case be less than two euros and thirtythree cents (2.33). 3. When weighing services are performed outside normal working hours of the Department, there shall be charged the additional rates established by regulations 43 and 44 of the Customs Regulations. Services outside office hours. 4. The fee specified in the Second Schedule shall be payable in respect of the service therein mentioned. Fees for other services. 5. The travelling expenses incurred by Customs weighers and labourers for the purpose of providing any service in respect of which a fee is payable under these regulations shall be those established by regulations 43 and 44 of the Customs Regulations, and shall be refunded to the Comptroller of Customs by the person requesting such service.
