The tariff of fees payable to architects and civil engineers for professional work and services rendered in connection with the erection, reconstruction or repair of buildings affe c ted by new alignments, key plans or reconstruction schemes shall be as set out in the Schedule to this Order. *Repealed by Article 30 of Act XIII of 2021 (Cap. 622). Citation. Tariff of fees payable. 1 2 [ S.L.390.02 TARIFF OF FEES SCHEDULE (Article 2) A. War damaged buildings 1. For works carried out cost of which is in excess of the ‘permissible amount’ fixed by the War Damage Commission, involving the preparation of an alternative plan and of an additional schedule of works on a modified plan approved by the Director of Public Works: (
- i)2. For works carried out cost of which falls within the ‘permissible amount’ fixed by the War Damage Commission, involving the preparation of an alternative plan and of an additional schedule of works: (
- i)3. 33.3% over the usual War Damage Commission Tariff, on the total cost of works as approved by the War Damage Commission. For works carried out cost of which is in excess of the ‘permissible amount’ fixed by the War Damage Commission, involving only an alternative plan, such plan not having been submitted for approval by the Director of Public Works: (
- i)B. 33.3% over the usual War Damage Commission Tariff, on the total cost of works as approved by the Director of Public Works. 10% over the usual War Damage Commission Tariff, on the ‘permissible amount’ fixed by the Commission. CANCELLATION OF A BUILDING CONTROL BOARD LICENCE I. WAR DAMAGE WORKS 1. Where works have not been started: (
- a)for the preparation of plans and for obtaining all required permits, a schedule of works not having been submitted to, or approved by, the War Damage Commission. (
- i)33.3% of the War Damage Commission Tariff on the cost of the complete project. (Cost to be computed by an accepted practical method). (
- b)for the preparation of plans, for obtaining all required permits, and for the preparation of a schedule of works, which has been approved by the War Damage Commission. (
- ii)50% of the War Damage Commission Tariff on the cost of the works as approved. TARIFF OF FEES 2. - i)War Damage Commission Tariff on the cost of the approved works actually carried out with an addition of (
- ii)50% of the War Damage Commission Tariff on the cost of the remaining approved works not yet carried out. II. NON-WAR DAMAGE WORKS 1. Where works have not been started: For the preparation of plans and for obtaining all required permits: 33.3% of the amount assessable in accordance with Tariff K on the cost of the complete project. (Cost to be computed by an accepted practical method). 2. Where works had been started: For the preparation of plans and for obtaining all required permits: (
- i)Full fee in accordance with Tariff K on cost of works carried out, with an addition of (
- ii)33.3% of the fee in accordance with Tariff K on cost of the works not yet carried out. (Cost to be computed by an accepted practical method). 3
