L.S. 437.23(R) Regolamenti dwar Kampjun ta' Ċertifikati tal-Pedigree għall-Ova ta' Annimali għat-Tgħammir ta' Speċi Bovina u Partikolaritajiet Relatti

(1)The title of these regulations is the Specimen Pedigree Certificates for the Ova of Breeding Animals of the Bovine Species and the Relative Particulars Regulations. Citation and scope.

(2)The scope of these regulations is the implementation of Eu ro pean Com mi ssion Deci si on 96 /80 /EC l ayin g d own th e specimen pedigree certificates for the ova of breeding animals of the bovine species and the particulars to be entered on those certificates. This Decision finds its legal basis under European Union Council Directive 77/504/EEC, article 5 and 6

(1)fifth indent. 2. The following particulars shall be mentioned in the certificate for trade with Member States of the ova of breeding animals of the bovine species: Particulars in the certificate for trade with Member States. (

1. a)updated data as listed in article 1 of European Commission Decision 86/404/EEC concerning the donor cow as well its blood group or test results providing equivalent scientific guarantees to verify its pedigree; (
2. b)information allowing identification, of the ovum, the date of its collection and the names and addresses of the ovum collection centre and of the consignee. If there is more than one ovum in a single straw, this must be clearly stated and furthermore the ova must all have the same dam. 3. The particulars provided for in regulation 2 may be indicated

(1)in the form of a certificate conforming to the specimen in the Schedule;

(2)in documentation accompanying the bovine ova. In this event the competent authorities must certify that the particulars set out in regulation 2 are indicated in those documents, by the following formula ''The undersigned certifies that these documents, contain the particulars mentioned in Article 1 of *These Regulations have been repealed by Legal Notice 11 of
