(1)No person may, without the licence granted to him by the Commissioner of Police, deal in articles of lace, whether by wholesale or by retail. Licence.
(2)A licence granted under the provisions of article 194 of the Code of Police Laws, shall not be deemed to authorise the licensee to deal in articles of lace, unless it is so expressly stated in the licence. Cap.
  1. The licence, if granted in respect of a shop or place of business, shall be exhibited in a frame in a prominent place in such a shop or place of business. Intinerant vendors shall carry their licence whenever they are engaged in their trade and shall produce it on demand to any officer of the Police. Exhibition of licence.

  3. Any person licensed to deal in articles of lace may, on application to the Director of Trade, have such articles of lace which are manufactured in Malta or Gozo, from linen or cotton thread, labelled with the official label. Application to the Director of Trade.
