The title of these regulations is the Fees (Lifelong Learning Courses) Regulations. 2. The fees chargeable to (
- a)Maltese citizens; or (
- b)citizens of other Member States of the European Union who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens; or (
- c)citizens of any other country who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens in matters related to employment by virtue of the application to that country of EU legislation and treaty provisions dealing with the free movement of workers; or Citation. - d)any other persons who are entitled to equal treatment to Maltese citizens in terms of the law or by virtue of EU legislation and treaty provisions, on account of their family relationship with persons mentioned in paragraphs (a), (
- b)or (c); or (
- e)third country nationals who have been granted longterm resident status in Malta under regulation 4 of the Status of Long-Term Residents (Third Country Nationals) Regulations, or who have been granted a residence permit under regulation 18
(3)thereof, together with family members of such third country nationals who have been granted a residence permit under the Family Reunification Regulations, following any course appearing in the first column in the Schedule, organised by the Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability shall be those fees appearing next to the course in the second column of the said Schedule. (1)Foreign nationals who are not officially registered as residents of Malta are not eligible to apply for any course offered by the Directorate for Research, Lifelong Learning and Employability.
(2)Without prejudice to regulation 2, foreign nationals applying for a course shall present documents attesting that they are officially residing in Malta in accordance with national or European Union law.
