PORTE DES BOMBES (EXEMPTION) CHAPTER 119 PORTE DES BOMBES AREA (EXEMPTION) ACT To provide for the exemption of a site from the provisions of the Porte des Bombes Area (Preservation) Act. (28th April, 1948)* Enacted by ACT X of
- This Act may be cited as the Porte des Bombes Area (Exemption) Act. Short title.
- A site having a frontage towards Spencer Hill of not more than one hundred and eighty four
(184)feet and a depth of not more than one hundred and forty
(140)feet from the alignment along Spencer Hill, shown in red on the site plan which, after the introduction of this Act, was laid on the Table of the Legislative Assembly, shall be exempted from the provisions of the Porte des Bombes Area (Preservation) Act: Exemption of a specified site from provisions of Porte des Bombes Area (Preservation) Act. Provided that any building to be erected on the site so exempted shall not exceed, at the highest point of the masonry or other material of which it may be constructed, a height of one hundred
(100)feet above sea-level.
- A copy of the said plan, signed by the Governor, shall be attached to the copy of this Act which, in terms of section 38 of the Malta (Constitution) Letters Patent, 1947, is to be enrolled on record in the Office of the Registrar of His Majesty’s Court of Appeal. *See Government Notice No. 230 of the 30th of April,
