DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC LOTTO
(POWERS AND FUNCTIONS) ACT
To remove certain doubts regarding the powers and functions of the
Director of Public Lotto.
(4th April, 1953)*
Enacted by ACT IV of 1953.
1.
This Act may be cited as the Director of Public Lotto
(Powers and Functions) Act.
Short title.
2.
It is hereby declared that the powers and functions which
by subsection (1) of section 2 of the Director of Public Lotto
(Constitution of Office) Act were vested in the Director of Public
Lotto comprise and, except for the purposes of criminal liability,
shall be deemed to have at all times comprised all the powers and
duties which, by or under the Public Lotto Ordinance and the
Government Lotteries Act, 1948†, were conferred upon or assigned
to the Collector of Imposts and Lotto.
